Sunmaster 600w dual spectrum grow lamps are HPS (High pressure Sodium) are designed to deliver up to 10% more light than standard HPS grow lamps. Sunmaster 600w Grow Lamps have been specifically developed for growing plants indoors. The spectrum has been adjusted to perform in both vegetative and flowering growth. This extremely energy-efficient plant grow lamp provides more energy which is essential for optimised photosynthetic response. These bulbs include both blue and red light spectrum (hence “dual spectrum”) which produces the characteristic orange glow. They can used be used during both grow and bloom phases. 600w grow lamps require either a 600w digital or magnetic Grow Light Ballast to ignite the lamp.

How to use:

Firstly, disconnect your grow light ballast from the mains. If you are replacing your current grow lamp, allow several minutes for you lamp to cool before attempting to unscrew the bulb from your reflector. Always wear gloves when touching 600w high pressure bulbs to prevent any damage to the bulb when ignited. Handling the grow lamp carefully, insert it into the E40 socket on the reflector and screw firmly into place. Finally connect the ballast back to the mains and switch on. Each grow lamp can cover roughly 1m2 – 1.2m2.

When to use:

Sunmaster 600w Dual Spectrum Grow Lamps can be used in both vegetative growth and flowering phases of your plant’s life cycle. 18 hours on and 6 hours off is your vegetative stage. 12 hours on and 12 hours off is your flowering phase. Replace the lamp roughly every year depending on use.
