Mother Pukka Cal Mag Oxide 500ml

The often overlooked calcium(Ca) and magnesium(Mg) are the two most important elements your plant requires, after nitrogen(N), phosphorous(P) and potassium(K).

Magnesium is critical to the production of chlorophyll which allows your plants to absorb light, a process known as photosynthesis. Therefore without sufficient amounts, your plant begins to degrade chlorophyll causing chlorosis, a severe yellowing and degradation of the leaves that can ultimately result in the death of your plant.

Calcium assists in the building of cell walls. When deficient of calcium, all new tissue, such as root tips, young leaves and shoot tips, exhibit distorted growth, improper cell wall formation, stunted growth and leaf curl.

Magnesium and calcium deficiencies usually develop when high concentrations of P and K are being taken on by the plant. What does XXX do?

Xxx increases the productivity and final yield of the plant, through increasing the level of Brix in the plant cells it reduces the likelyhood of an insect attack it also helps with environmental stress due to cooler temperatures in the winter.

XXX nutrient works at the cellular level of roots, it stimulates the electromagnetic exchange between a plant’s root and nutrient ions of the coco or soil. This exchange is known as the Cation exchange. Cationic Exchange (CE) is a scientific term to describe a very simple process in plants. The Cationic Exchange benefits plants by increasing the size of their roots, this allows a greater absorption of minerals and water. The uptake of more nutrient and water leads to increased BRIX (sugar content) production in the plant, which helps the plant to increase its photosynthetic reaction. The outcome is rapid growth with a faster onset of flowering, healthier and sturdier plants with a noticeable increased flavor and bigger yields.

What is Brix?

Brix is the scale based on the amount of light that bends through a liquid. BRIX acts to improve photosynthesis, resulting in healthier growth and more hardy resistance to disease and climate impacts Brix is simple: when the brix is low, the taste is poor, and the insects come. When the brix is high, the taste is superb and the insects seem to busy themselves elsewhere. Plants with higher Brix levels are healthy, more pest resistant and have a higher quality taste. Essentially the healthier the plant is, the more resistant to pathogens and insect infestation it is. Insects that feed on plants lack the biological requirements to properly digest certain sugars. The undigested sugars will quickly ferment into alcohol causing death to the insect or disrupting it’s digestive system. Higher levels of Brix usually means higher sugar content and are generally less desirable to these bugs. Weaker or diseased plants always have lower Brix numbers so these will be the first targets of pests. By using XXX nutrient you will see an elevated Brix count that will improve taste, resin production, odor and potency. Lots of nutrient companies push “boosts” or “PK” products as the big yield enhancers. In truth these expensive products can only work if your plants are happy and are physically able to transport the ions and minerals needed for the flowering phase.
