The Lighthouse Ecoheat Tube Heater is perfect for cold areas such as a garage, shed or outbuilding. Electric tube heaters are one of the most cheap and cost effective ways of warming a greenhouse or grow room.

These small, economical heaters emit a slow and gradual warmth which protects plants against sudden temperature and humidity fluctuations.

How to use:

Simply place your electric tube heater in the area that requires additional heat and plug into the mains using the UK 3 pin plug supplied. These heaters can be mounted on a wall but ensure that it is fixed horizontally at all times. For even more control, it can be connected to a thermostat so that, whenever the temperature drops below 18 for example, it will switch on and begin to emit heat. Consistent temperatures can be maintained with very little hassle when used in this way. Other growers prefer to use heavy duty timers to turn on or off the heaters. This is a cheaper method but does require a little bit more time and effort.
